Coach Allen Stecyk brings a wealth of multi-sport experience, elite training exposure, and a decade of softball coaching leadership to the Kaizen program. A lifelong athlete turned dedicated mentor, Coach Allen believes that great teams aren’t just built on talent—they’re built on culture, unity, and consistent effort.
Growing up, Coach Allen was a multi-sport athlete, competing in fastpitch, baseball, volleyball, basketball, and badminton. His playing career is highlighted by:
Provincial Championships in fastpitch, baseball, and volleyball
A Western Canadian Championship in baseball
This diverse athletic background shaped his competitive drive and gave him a deep appreciation for discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
Allen’s development as a player included training with some of the top programs in North America:
Winter training camps with provincial and national baseball coaches and players
A scouting camp hosted by the New York Mets
A development camp with the Edmonton Trappers baseball club
Participation in multiple open MLB talent identification camps
These experiences laid the foundation for a high-performance mindset and a strong understanding of player development.
With over 10 years of softball coaching, Coach Allen has dedicated himself to helping athletes reach their full potential—both on and off the field. His coaching philosophy is simple and powerful:
